18 U.S.C. §2257 Compliance Statement

ShuffleCrush provides real-time, one-to-one video chat between adults. Calls are live peer-to-peer streams. ShuffleCrush does not record, store, transcode, archive or republish video or audio from any call, and there is no recording infrastructure in the product.

ShuffleCrush does not host, sell, licence or distribute prerecorded or uploaded sexually explicit video content. The only user-supplied media stored by the Platform are account profile images and the identity/liveness images submitted during host verification, both of which are subject to the rules below.

Content shown during a live call is created by the participants themselves, in real time, using their own equipment. ShuffleCrush does not direct, script, produce, edit or curate what participants do on camera.

ShuffleCrush is strictly limited to persons who are 18 years of age or older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if that age is higher.

• no minor may hold an account, act as a host or content provider, or appear on camera in any role, at any time, even incidentally;
• child sexual abuse material, any sexual content involving a minor, the sexualisation of a person who appears to be a minor, grooming, exploitation, trafficking indicators and non-consensual sexual content are absolutely prohibited;
• any such report or observation is escalated immediately through our dedicated illegal-content escalation process, the account is permanently removed, the associated evidence is placed under preservation hold, and the matter is reported to the competent authority or national hotline where appropriate.

No account can appear on camera as a host or content provider without first completing host verification and being approved by an authorised human reviewer. Verification consists of:

• a declared legal name;
• a declared date of birth, which is checked programmatically against the 18+ requirement — a submission below 18 is rejected and cannot proceed;
• a supported government-issued photographic identity document: a passport, a national identity card, or a residence permit. Driving licences are not accepted;
• live gesture-based verification evidence: images taken in the moment showing specific requested hand gestures, used to confirm that a real, present adult is behind the account and that the same person is the one appearing on camera;
• review by an authorised human reviewer, who checks the declared identity details against the document and compares the portrait on the identity document with the live evidence. Approval is never automatic, and a submission cannot be approved while the required identity-document evidence is missing or incomplete.

ShuffleCrush does not perform automated biometric or facial-recognition matching, does not query any government or third-party identity database, does not rely on automated document text extraction, and does not use a third-party identity-verification provider. The comparison is a human one.

The government-identity-document requirement applies to host verifications submitted from its introduction onward. Hosts verified before that date were approved under the requirements in force at the time — declared legal name, declared date of birth checked against the 18+ requirement, live gesture evidence and human review — and have not been retroactively re-verified.

Accounts that are unverified, pending or rejected are never presented to other users as hosts. Verification can be revoked at any time by a moderator; revocation takes the account off camera immediately and is recorded as a distinct enforcement state.

Only the verified account holder may appear on camera on their own stream. Participants must use their own identity and their own live camera; presenting, admitting or broadcasting any other person is a violation of the Community Guidelines and is enforced against.

For every host approved to appear on camera, ShuffleCrush retains the verification record described in section 3 — declared legal name, declared date of birth, the identity-document images and the live gesture images where they are still held, the submission timestamp, the reviewing moderator and the review outcome — together with the account's enforcement history and an immutable audit log of moderator actions.

These records are stored in restricted-access, non-public storage. They are never displayed to other users and are accessible only to authorised administrators and compliance personnel, through short-lived links generated for a specific review; every access is itself logged. Identity documents, images and personal data are never published.

Raw identity-document and live images are separated from the minimal verification metadata we keep for longer: the submission reference, the verification result, the document type, the review timestamp, the reviewer or audit reference, and the retention or hold state. We do not keep full document numbers, extracted document text, or reusable access links.

Raw evidence is retained while legitimately required for the active verification and compliance relationship and is then scheduled for deletion under one central retention configuration. The applicable retention period has not yet been finally determined with our legal advisers and payment processors; until it is, automated deletion of production evidence is deliberately switched off rather than run against an arbitrary period. Deletion is always suspended for evidence under a documented legal or compliance hold.

Because no call video or audio is created or retained, no depiction of a call exists to be indexed, catalogued or produced.

Every host and content provider must, as a condition of access:

• be an adult and remain able to demonstrate it on request;
• appear only as themselves, and never allow another person to appear on or use their account;
• comply with the Terms & Conditions, Community Guidelines, Moderation Policy and all applicable law, including the laws of their own jurisdiction;
• obtain and respect consent at all times, and stop immediately when asked;
• never record, screenshot or redistribute another participant's live video, audio or chat.

Violations result in enforcement up to permanent removal, revocation of host verification, and forfeiture of earnings obtained through prohibited conduct.

Law enforcement requests are handled through the same channel and are prioritised where a child-safety or immediate-harm concern is present.

ShuffleCrush responds to valid legal requests from competent authorities and will preserve and disclose the records described in section 4 to the extent required by applicable law. Records are not disclosed to private parties.

This statement describes ShuffleCrush's actual practices. It is not a legal opinion, and it does not assert any classification of ShuffleCrush under 18 U.S.C. §2257 or §2257A, nor any exemption from it.

ShuffleCrush does not designate a custodian of records in this statement. Whether a custodian of records is required, and under which classification, is an open legal question that remains under review with our legal advisers; nothing here should be read as an answer to it. Legal and records requests are handled through the channel above in the meantime.
